Stage 1  Initial Interview

Objective – Identify the Genuine

• Initial interview using AVS technology and principles, or:
   
• Offline analysis of pre-recorded conversation
   
• Assess for relevant risk
   
• Eliminate the innocent
   
• Focus on suspects as per relevant risk issues identified
   
• Explore relevant risk issues with suspect
   
• If suspect denies issues, but AVS process continues to confirm risk, then these cases will be referred to Stage 2 for further investigation
